For the titles of ANWB Caravan of the Year 2027 and ANWB Motorhome of the Year 2027, the jury members will be evaluating a total of 10 candidates in the coming weeks. In collaboration with Kampeer en Caravan Industrie (KCI) and Camp to Go, the winners will be announced on Wednesday, September 30, in Utrecht.
Since 1996, the ANWB has been awarding the Caravan of the Year title, and last year, for the first time in two decades, that title went to a Dutch product: the GetAway from Easy Caravanning. The jury, which includes AD journalist Niek Schenk and radio DJ and avid camper Paul Rabbering, will be evaluating the successor over the coming weeks, and five candidates have been selected for this purpose. The shortlist ranges from a new variant within an existing model series to a completely new model, and from a caravan aimed at a very broad audience to a version that pulls out all the stops in terms of design and technology. Each and every one of these nominated caravans certainly occupies a unique position:

Motorhome of the Year Nominees
The ANWB Motorhome of the Year title was first awarded in 2008, and last year the honor went to the Bürstner Signature. The motorhome jury also consists of industry experts and experienced enthusiasts, including Hannah König from the popular podcast “Hannah’s Hymer.” They will evaluate five candidates that are just as diverse as the nominated caravans. The shortlist for the 2027 ANWB Camper of the Year includes campervans as well as semi-integrated and fully integrated motorhomes:

Variations within the model range
Although the title in both categories is ultimately formally awarded to a single specific model or configuration, the judges may also (partially) take into account any related variations within the same model series in their final decision. This is to provide the best possible overview of the options available to Dutch caravan and motorhome buyers.
