From a smart cooler to a mover, and from a portable toilet to a power station: in addition to your RV, trailer, folding trailer, or (roof) tent, you’ll need plenty of other gear and devices to enjoy your trip worry-free. The Kampeer & Caravan Jaarbeurs features a wide selection of suppliers, and these are the new products they’re bringing.
Mestic is a Dutch brand that offers a wide range of electronic accessories, virtually all of which can now be controlled using a single app. With the Mestic app, you can lower the temperature of both the air conditioner and the cooler by a few degrees right from the beach, while also checking the status of your power station remotely. In addition to this new mobile app, Mestic is also unveiling the new names for its air conditioners, coolers, and refrigerators, which will now be known as Kalda, Riva, and Alpine. The completely new line of compressor refrigerators is called Kyros. In addition to plug-in appliances, Mestic also offers cooking appliances and gas heaters, for example.
From absorption to compressor
Speaking of compressor refrigerators: Thetford has observed a clear shift from absorption-type refrigerators to compressor technology and has therefore unveiled a whole range of new refrigerators. This technology provides better cooling at higher temperatures, and when combined with solar panels and increasingly powerful batteries, power supply is no longer an issue.
Thetford is also one of the leading suppliers of toilets, stoves, and ovens for caravans and RVs, among other products. In this area as well, the market leader (headquartered in Etten-Leur) is showcasing all kinds of innovations, and they can also tell you everything about the features of a cassette toilet versus a separation or incineration toilet.
Level your trailer right away
Exhibitor Reich has introduced LevelDrive, an ingenious system that combines the increasingly popular mover with levelling legs under a trailer. This allows you to use an app—and essentially with the push of a button—not only to position the caravan in place, but also to extend the supports fully electrically and have the entire unit level itself automatically. A major advantage is that you can also use this system if you already own a Reich mover.
Cooking, Baking, and Roasting
If you love cooking and tantalizing your taste buds, then exhibitor Cadac is definitely the place for you. From the good old Skottelbraai to a percolator for the perfect cup of coffee, and from a pizza stone to a tabletop barbecue. With products from Cadac—part of Dometic—cooking becomes a celebration, whether it’s a one-pot dish or a full family meal. Parent company Dometic will also be at Jaarbeurs Kampeer & Caravan Jaarbeurs and is known as a supplier of just about everything you need while camping: air conditioners, refrigerators and coolers, ovens, fans, toilets, tables, chairs, tents, awnings… you name it, Dometic has it.
