Curious about the new motorhomes and campervans coming out for the 2027 model year? From compact semi-integrated motorhomes to adventurous 4×4 campervans and even a motorhome with a rooftop terrace: manufacturers are pulling out all the stops. At Jaarbeurs 2026 Camping & Caravan Jaarbeurs, you’ll get to see various new models up close. We’ve rounded up a few notable motorhome premieres for 2027.
Westfalia: Anniversary Model and Campervan with a Rooftop Terrace
Westfalia has two striking new models for the 2027 model year. In honor of the upcoming 50th anniversary of the Sven Hedin, the brand is presenting the Sven Hedin 50 Years Anniversary Edition. This special edition is built on the 6-meter-long MAN TGE and combines retro decals and upholstery with modern technology, including an 8-speed automatic transmission and 177 pk.
Even more striking is the Westfalia Columbus Liner. This 6.41-meter-long campervan, based on the Fiat Ducato, features three “levels,” a spacious double bed, and even a real rooftop terrace. Through the bed and pop-up roof, you can access the Sky Lounge, where you can sit on top of the campervan.
Dethleffs Just Van T: compact and maneuverable
Dethleffs is introducing the new Just Van T series: compact semi-integrated motorhomes based on the Fiat Ducato. The three models are only 2.20 meters wide, making them exceptionally maneuverable.
There will be various layouts featuring a transverse bed or longitudinal beds, with a choice between traditional train-style seating or a face-to-face seating area. With this, Dethleffs is targeting RV owners who want to combine compact exterior dimensions with the comfort of a semi-integrated model.
Knaus Sky TI redesigned for 2027
Knaus also has big news. The completely redesigned Sky TI is switching from the Fiat Ducato to the Volkswagen Crafter. Knaus has redesigned the motorhome and equipped it with features such as a large panoramic window made of real glass and Volkswagen’s completely flat chassis.
There will be three different models, featuring, among other things, lengthwise beds, a queen-size bed, and various seating arrangements. A fold-down bed above the seating area is available as an option.
Bürstner Signature Now Also Available on the Mercedes Sprinter
The Fiat-based Bürstner Signature was named Camper of the Year by the ANWB and NKC at the previous Kampeer & Caravan Jaarbeurs . Now, the model is getting a successor with the Signature SMT, based on the Mercedes Sprinter.
The motorhome is available with or without a fold-down bed above the seating area. A striking feature is the gas-free kitchen unit, which incorporates various pull-out and fold-out elements.
Weinsberg CaraCompact Pepper Completely Redesigned
After about ten years, the popular Weinsberg CaraCompact “Pepper” is getting a major update. For the 2027 model year, a compact version measuring just 6.30 meters will be introduced, among other changes.
Despite its compact length, this new Pepper offers extra space, particularly in the rear garage. It can accommodate one or more bicycles. In addition, two models with a length of 6.75 meters will be available.
Ventje T7: Dutch-made and fully electric
There’s also some interesting camper news coming from the Netherlands. Ventje is introducing the new T7, based on the Volkswagen Transporter T7, with up to seven seats depending on your preferences.
A unique feature is the choice of three powertrains: diesel, hybrid, or fully electric. The electric version is available with up to 238 pk and a range of up to 370 kilometers. In addition, the T7 can be equipped with a new pop-up roof featuring a tent fabric that unzips fully and a skylight.
