At this year's Camping & Caravan Jaarbeurs many caravan firsts & novelties will be presented again. Meet the latest models, such as the completely redesigned Bürstner Averso, the affordable Tabbert Cazadora and the refreshed LMC Sassino. Also in the spotlight are the Knaus Sport and the lightweight Adria Aviva Lite with their modern designs and smart innovations. These novelties offer something for everyone, from luxury options to eco-friendly and practical solutions.

Bürstner Averso

Bürstner's caravan factory in Kehl, Germany, has been rolling off the assembly line for a few months now for the completely updated Averso, which comes in a "regular" version as well as in the Harmony Line version, which is equipped with all kinds of extras that make the caravan a cozy "house on wheels. The Averso is available with six layouts and two Averso Plus layouts that feature a lift-up bed above the living area and thus have two extra sleeping places. The Harmony Line versions have smooth cladding on the outside, alloy wheels and drawbar cover. At the front, the large panoramic skylight stands out, directly above the front window. This provides plenty of light inside.

The Averso has a headroom of 198 cm and the entrance is standard 70 cm wide. In model 535TL there is a large dinette in the front, with headrests in the corners and nice thick cushions. A special feature is the upholstery made from recycled PET bottles according to the "Global Recycled Standard. The corners behind the bench can be used as storage space for small items, and a striking feature is the removable, magnetically lockable reading lights that can also be used outside on the camping table. The walls are felted, which makes the caravan extra homely.

Cooking interior of Buerstner-Averso

Cooking is done on a three burner in the kitchen, there is a large sink for dishes and under the sink are large drawers for cooking utensils. The caravan is equipped with a large compressor fridge. Across from the kitchen we see the combined toilet and shower room, again with plenty of storage for toiletries. In the back of this model there are two large single beds that you can connect with a spacer. Handy is the new Smart Home App from Bürstner, with which you can control all sorts of things: lights, power and water levels, and you can use it to turn the heater up or down, for example.

Tabbert Cazadora

Tabbert calls it the successor to the DaVinci caravan, but the Cazador is considerably cheaper than its predecessor. The new entry-level caravan in the Tabbert portfolio stands on Knott's Dyonic chassis, which, among other things due to the large number of punched holes, is a lot lighter than other caravan chassis. What is special is that even the Cazadora, despite being the entry-level series, is still equipped with the 48 mm thick Tabbert roof that provides additional insulation.

The living area is carefully designed and we see typical Tabbert details that we also encounter in the more expensive caravan series, such as the soft wall covering in the seating area, partially leather upholstery and the subtle LuminoElegance lighting that creates an intimate atmosphere at night. A nice detail is the photo wall that we also find in Knaus models. With it you give the interior a personal touch.

LMC Sassino

LMC, the camper and caravan manufacturer from Sassenberg, Germany, has upgraded its Sassino caravan series. Five models are available, including a version that sleeps seven.

The Sassino has been given a new front and the interior features warm earth tones combined with modern oak decor. Floor and worktop in the kitchen have a concrete look, and the entire design has received publicity in Germany in a leading magazine ("Schöner Wohnen") on modern interiors - that doesn't happen easily for a caravan brand.

Textiles made from recycled PET bottles are used for the upholstery and curtains. Also new are the removable textile storage boxes in the bathroom and the sliding USB sockets and light spots under the upper cabinets.

The new Sassino also incorporates several design details from more luxurious caravan series, such as the Tandero and the Videro caravans. This gives LMC's entry-level caravan a luxurious appearance. Also new to LMC are two Special Editions models from the Style series built especially for the Dutch market: the Style 450D and 490K.

Knaus Sport

Knaus has completely updated the popular 'Sport' caravan series for model year 2025, both on the outside and inside. On the outside, you will recognize the new Knaus models by the angular shapes and in addition, the Sport features the typical Knaus 'Cateye Evolution II' rear lights that use LED. The caravans have hammerblow cladding on the outside and underflooring uses the Knott Dyonic chassis which is lighter than usual caravan chassis.

For the interior, you can choose from as many as 14 different layouts. Upper cabinets are fitted with fronts without handles, making the motorhome modern and sleek inside. A light wood color and white color surfaces were chosen for the furniture. For the Sport caravan series, Knaus has moved away from the ePower versions that, among other things, came with induction hobs. So now you just cook on gas.

A special feature is that all Knaus caravans can be supplied with the in-house developed Cleanflex toilet that makes chemicals unnecessary. Large and small messages are sealed per "seat" in a plastic bag that can be disposed of with the residual waste.

Adria Aviva Lite

Caravans suitable for towing an electric car? There aren't many. Last year, Knaus introduced the Yaseo, a luxury caravan with a low weight, and Adria dipped below that, with the Aviva Lite 360 DK, which was almost two hundred pounds lighter than the Knaus. Adria did that by simply leaving out a lot. Like a complete gas system, for example, because, says Adria: "Cooking in the summer you usually do it outside. And in bad weather, you simply put a separate stove on the kitchen countertop.

Another "giveaway" is the overhead cabinets. In their place, the Aviva Lite has a type of overnight bag that attaches to bars. So you can fill them at home with clothes and other light items and then hang them up inside the caravan. The closet is also made of fabric and the storage crates under the bench are simply from Ikea. The Aviva Lite 360 DK now has an even lighter, smaller sister with a driving weight of 600 kilograms, but it is not on display at Jaarbeurs. The 360 DK is, of course, including bunk beds for the kids.

As a result, the luxury caravan is available not only in a modern, timeless version, but also in a classic, homely version with lots of wood colors and a granite countertop in the kitchen.
